These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the DJ Toolbox Pro software application and any associated media, documentation, and updates (the "Software"), made by The DJ Toolbox Pro Team ("we", "us", or "Licensor"). By installing, activating, or using the Software — or by clicking "Accept" — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. The binding End User License Agreement (EULA) you accept on first launch mirrors these Terms.
Subject to payment of the applicable fee and your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own DJ preparation. Your licence is tied to the email address used at purchase and is intended for use by a single user.
DJ Toolbox Pro is licensed on a subscription basis (monthly or annual). Your licence key is validated for your machine, and a valid, in-term licence is required to continue using the Software after any free trial ends. Activation contacts our licence service once; after that, the Software runs offline.

The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. These Terms grant you no rights other than the limited licence expressly set out above.
DJ Toolbox Pro helps you prepare and organise your music: analysing BPM and key, building harmonic playlists, separating vocals and instrumentals, converting audio formats, and exporting to DJ software. It is a preparation tool — it is not an audio enhancer and does not claim to improve how your tracks sound. Vocal and instrumental separation reflects the quality of the source file you provide: a clean original gives a clean separation, and a low-quality source will show its limits.
The Software processes music files that you provide. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights, licences, and permissions for any files you process, and you are solely responsible for complying with copyright laws in your jurisdiction. We take no responsibility for how you use the Software and are not liable for any copyright infringement or unauthorised use of protected material arising from your use.
Before using any import/export feature, always back up your music library and your DJ software's collection/database, test with a small subset of files first, and verify exported playlists before a live performance. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or issues arising from use of the Software.
The Software runs entirely offline on your own computer. Your music files and library never leave your machine; we do not upload, collect, or transmit your audio or library data. The only personal data we hold is the email address you give us for your licence. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Payments are processed by Freemius, who act as the merchant of record; we never see or store your card or bank details. A free 7-day trial with every tool unlocked lets you fully evaluate DJ Toolbox Pro on your own library before you buy — so a purchase is made after you have had the opportunity to test it.
You are still covered by a 7-day Money-Back Guarantee: if within 7 days of your purchase you experience a verified defect that makes the app's core functionality unusable and our support team is unable to resolve it for you, we will issue a full refund. This does not cover a change of mind after the app has worked as intended, requests for features the app does not provide, or issues caused by third-party or system software. Because the Software is a digital good delivered by download, refund requests must be made within 7 days of your original purchase by emailing [email protected], and we will always try to resolve the issue first.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DJ TOOLBOX PRO TEAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, VirtualDJ, Engine DJ, djay Pro, Mixxx, Cross DJ, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and FL Studio are trademarks of their respective owners. DJ Toolbox Pro is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. These names are used solely to identify file and library compatibility (nominative fair use). No third-party logos or brand styling are used.
The Software includes third-party open-source components, each governed by its own licence, including LGPL components (the Qt libraries via PySide6, and FFmpeg) that are dynamically linked and whose corresponding source you may obtain and replace. Full attributions and licence texts ship with the application in the accompanying THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file. No GPL-licensed code is bundled.
These Terms are effective until terminated. They terminate automatically if you breach any term. On termination you must stop using and delete all copies of the Software. Sections 4–13, 15, and 16 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software and supersede any prior understanding. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. If these Terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
